The Word As We Learn It Ministry
Introduction: Welcome to “The Word as We Learn It” or WAWL (for short), we are so glad you are here and want to be a blessing to you! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make you comfortable, feel welcome, and loved! We are a group of Christian women who desire to learn more about God and His Word, fellowship with other Christian Women, and prayer.
Our Vision: We hope that you grow in the Word, developing a stronger relationship with God through Prayer, Mediation, and Application. We are here to teach you both topical and Interpretive Bible studies. We also strive to help you increase your knowledge of the Word, through different methods of study.
Statement of Faith: We have posted our Statement of Beliefs in the Document section of the WAWL main page on Facebook. It is also available via email.
Method: We currently use the social media platform of Facebook having our own private group. Prospective members ask to join, and once approved are encouraged to interact and fellowship with other ladies, at their comfort level. Please know that it is a closed group, and no one outside the group can see any posts for privacy. We also will use email those who prefer that method. All of our Bible Study groups, chats, prayer requests, and most interactions occur on the Facebook Board or on our separate Saddleback Group websites.
Groups: We have several groups with varied interest that we welcome you to join! Membership is open to all women, from all walks of life that believe in the Christian Faith.
Encouragement: We encourage open discussion about the Christian Faith, Bible, Theology or whatever interests you may have. We do not condemn your opinions, thoughts, or beliefs. You are free to express yourself; we do ask that you reference/source your information, so that others are able to look it up themselves for further study. We also ask that you are respectful, and kind to one another even in difference of opinions.
Leaders: Please feel free to contact any of our leadership team if you have a question, concern, or thought. We are here to encourage and help you grow in your walk with God. You may contact them online on Facebook via the board, private message or email.
