Isaiah 61:1-3

New International Version (NIV)

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.

Isaiah 61:1-3

Do you realize that you should use your weaknesses, you trials, you tragedies to help another person? God does that make you go through changes without having a reason. Just by you sharing your heart and experiences, is guaranteed to help another person along in their path. Isaiah 61:1-3 says it best. Although written in first person denoting Jesus, it is also meant as a standard for our lives. If we followed every line in this scripture, do you know what kind of person we would be? I know God has used me, in my trials, and tragedies to help other people. Just having the ability to say, ” I understand” or ” I have been there”, are comforting words to many people that you will cross paths with. Remember we were given the Great Commission to help other people, use your trials to heal another person. You will be amazed in the Power of Love.
Peace
